More business. More CASHét.

CASHét began with a winning formula:

(1) a corporate Mastercard that would (2) fully integrate with (3) our proprietary software.

This dynamic combination finally brought real-time control of P-Card expenses to the industry, along with production-specific features like 360º expense tracking (by category/department/cardholder), and automated integration with production accounting software.

Since then, we've added an evolving mobile app, global digital receipt capture (app & browser-based), and three breakthrough products that work in tandem to create the industry’s first fully-digital payment & approval process: E-payments (ePay); CASHétPay (CP); and Petty Cash Envelope Digital Approval (PCEDA).

On the human side (remember humans?), CASHét is equally renowned for our team of industry pros providing friendly, fast support via phone, email and a 24-hour text hotline. We're also very popular—the p-card of choice for over 2,500 productions annually in the USA and Canada alone.

Best of all? CASHét provides a cash rebate of up to 1% for all qualifying spend on our U.S. and Canadian-dollar cards.

And in 2024, we’ve partnered with Equals Money to provide an innovative and complete Mastercard® payment system for the UK.

From the beginning, Kurt Woolner (of market leader in film completion bonds Film Finances), Robbert Aarts & Niels Teves (founders of Fintage House), and current COO Paul Rogers (see below) saw an opportunity to help their colleagues in the entertainment space best navigate—and thrive within—a rapidly changing media landscape. Close to 10 years later, and joined by a vibrant and diverse team, they look forward to continued innovation in the years to come to support CASHét’s current clients, businesses in the entertainment-adjacent space, and beyond.

At its core, CASHét is about three things:

  • best-in-class digital payment solutions

  • outstanding value

  • rock-solid service

Paul Rogers
President & COO

Paul’s dual strengths in finance and IT (plus 20 years’ global music publishing) have helped fuel his launch of multiple entertainment business start-ups. The author of the original business plan and Employee #1 of CASHét, it is his leadership and vision which have shaped the company into the success it is today.

Shawn Gillespie
EVP of Operations

With 30 years in the production accounting industry, Shawn Gillespie is almost as well known as CASHét itself. From small independents to some of the biggest films in the industry, from network tV to premium cable, Shawn’s experience is the backbone of CASHét’s operations.

Roger Ging
CTO

Roger has been with CASHét since its founding in 2012. His career-spanning background in building data management systems for companies in the entertainment space has made him the foundation of the IT infrastructure here at CASHét, and an integral part of its ongoing development.

Nick Champion
VP of CASHétPay

Nick is as renowned for implementing successful systems as he is for building solid teams. With a 20-year track record in multiple areas of studio production finance, Nick is uniquely poised to lead CASHétPay in its next phases of innovation and growth, and is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

Samantha Brayson
UK Operations Representative

Sammy is thrilled to be CASHét’s first international team member. Her experience in UK production accounting and her keen interest in startup culture made her the perfect candidate to introduce CASHét’s innovative system to the UK.

“Peanut” Gillespie
Mascot & SVP of Faxing

Gwendolyn Biship-Gillespie, informally known as `”Peanut,” takes her responsibilities as CASHét corporate mascot very, very seriously. It is rumored that her years abroad as one of Europe’s most sought-after models was merely a ruse, allowing her to function in her true role as a deep-cover espionage agent for a global security force. Long retired from the madcap world of international fashion, Peanut now puts her extensive talent and experience to use investigating other people's lunches for possible snacks, exploring the pantry at CASHét World HQ for possible treats, and taking long naps after the exertion of seeking out snacks and treats.

IN MEMORIAM
John O’Neil
SVP Client Experience
Jan 21, 1962 - May 22, 2023

From his first days at CASHét in 2014, John O’Neil was largely responsible for cultivating the company culture known to all as "The CASHét Way". Anyone who ever reached out or dropped by experienced his gift for creating delightful interactions and outstanding customer service, regardless of whether they had the pleasure of interacting with him directly. He earned his title many times over.

John was surrounded by close friends and family in his last days, and is mourned by hundreds more, both personally and professionally, as the brilliant, generous, capable and singular soul he was.

He leaves a great space in our hearts and lives. It was our honor and privilege to know John, and we do our best to carry on his legacy, both here at CASHét and in our day-to-day lives.
